This website does not set any cookies and stores nothing on your device. That is why no consent dialogue appears.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website places in your browser in order to recognise it on a later visit. Other forms of storage on the device, such as local storage, are treated the same way in law.

What this website does

It consists of pre-generated HTML files, one stylesheet, two small JavaScript files and locally hosted fonts. None of these writes anything to your device or reads anything from it. There is no session handling, no shopping basket and no login — and therefore not even a technically necessary cookie.

Why there is no cookie banner

Under § 25 (1) TDDDG, consent is required if information is stored on or read from the user's device. Since neither happens here, there is nothing to consent to. A dialogue that only manages its own state would be a nuisance without legal basis.

What would change

If we were to introduce an analytics tool in future, it would only load after your express consent. This page would then list the cookies set, their purpose and their storage period, the footer would carry a link to withdraw consent, and a consent dialogue would appear on your first visit. Until then, what is written above applies.

Server log files

Independently of cookies, every web server records technical access data. What that covers and how long it is kept is set out in section 2 of the privacy policy.
